Turkish formal and bridal hijab style

I love the creativity of the different styles of hijab wraps they make at Ayse Kuafor. As you might remember, I have posted about these wonderful formal styles earlier, here and here. Well, they have got some new pictures up, which are worth checking out if you need inspiration for the next wedding party or formal occation (sorry for the red water marks right across every picture).

I love the way the scarves are wrapped here, and the colors too (the green color is fab). Although the “cakey” dresses are not my favorites, I love the red dress (have something very close to it, just way less tight)…

Then, if you trust your wrapping abilities and is getting married soon, or if you are just dreaming, check out these wedding wraps:

CUTE! I want to attend somebodys wedding… Like right now!!!! Playing dress up is fun. And all that food is not bad either. What do you think? Would you try any of these styles?

Turkish dressing up

At least I think it’s Turkish. The hijab looks really Turkish to me. Very different from the previous Turkish dresses I posted, these are far simpler and more elegant.

Ahhh, I’m really loving the black dress with the silver hijab. Tres chic!

Do you like this way of dressing up? Do you like it simple or are you more of the MUCH of everything-type?

Fall favorite turkish silk hijabs

Most of the f/w collections are in stores now, and since the silk scarf is the big hit this season, here are my favorites from the f/w collection of Armine.

Hijab planethas got the most exclusive Turkish silk scarves in my opinion. These are my favorites from their fall collection, with the last being my ultimate favorite.

Which one is your favorite?

Turkish Gowns

I love Bala Couture, and I have posted pictures from their bridal collection earlier. I think the kaftans/caftans and gowns are even more beautiful. Here are some of their beautiful pieces easily worn with hijab;

I absolutely looooove the lime green one! Which one is your favorite?

More turkish hijab!

Lately I’ve fallen in love with the turkish way to wear hijab. The scarf is worn so glamorous, like the old time moviestars, just with an underscarf to take care of the “peeping” hair. I love the turkish way of wrapping combined with a satin trench and biiig sunglasses. That’s what I wore, minus the sunglasses yesterday (rainy and cold)…. But there is more to tesettur clothing than just Tekbir. One of my dear readers gave me a link to Aydan Tesettür, where I found these pics from their 2008 catalog;

Owwwwww! I want the red outfit to the upper right in the first row!! And many more. Look at their website for even more beautiful outfits. I think I need to visit Turkey soon!!!

Do you like the tesettür style?
